Thursdays
4pm – 5pm ET
Trish is the
host of the Greatfully Dead Hour on Thursdays from 4-5. She is a
graduate student majoring in nursing. She enjoys almost any genre of music, but
decided to do a jam band and eclectic rock mix because she feels that genre is
lacking in this area. She got into this style of music during her undergrad
years at the University of Georgia.

Mondays & Wednesdays
6
pm – 8pm ET
Rob Seabrook
III (Or Ravishing Rob...) is the charismatic, loud, and semi-rude host of
The Rob Report, which airs on WODU Radio Monday and Wednesdays 6-8 PM!
Rob is a NYC native by way of Brooklyn. He took all of the life lessons he
learned back home 6 hrs south to Norfolk, VA to become an ODU student, majoring
in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. He got the confidence to apply to WODU
and succeeded in getting a time slot in the Spring ’08 Semester. While he is one
of the more “low-key” members of the station, you’ll definitely see a lot more
of him this year.
The Rob Report (in its second semester of existence), has the thoughts, feelings
and random insanity that is your typical college student. The music is varied;
Rap and RNB gets a lot of burn but the playlist is expanding; you’ll hear
N.E.R.D. and Nelly Furtado on the same show with some Jeezy or some Lupe.
Regardless, before the 2 hours of comedy, insight, and energy is up, you’ll
definitely hear something you like. In addition, this show embraces Facebook to
the fullest; there’s a Facebook Group for the show as well as occasional
discussion sessions about topics on the show. Rob also responds to inquiries and
questions about the show sent to him on Facebook; the opinions and thoughts of
the listener are top priority. Guests, interesting topics, back and forth
insults; this is truly radio that aims to entertain.
Honey B|

Tuesdays & Thursdays 1
pm – 2pm ET
Honey B. is a
DJ here at WODU (the best in college radio). She is the single mother of a
beautiful little girl and that is where she gets her focus and determination.
She is currently a senior, here at ODU, majoring in English with an Emphasis in
Journalism. Upon graduating, in 2009, Honey B. plans to either teach high school
English or continue on with a career in the entertainment industry.
Ultimately,
Honey B. would like to be either a VJ or DJ for some sort of hip-hop
entertainment venue. Speaking of hip-hop, Honey B. is a true fan of REAL
hip-hop. Her favorite artists include Ghostface, Little Brother, Nas, Common,
among others. She is also a Dipset and D-Block fan. Locally, she supports Do It
to Def Entertainment, otherwise known as D.I.D. (if you're not familiar, she
suggests you do yourselves a favor). When Honey B. is not working part-time as a
legal assistant, or slaving away at ODU, she is either spending time with her
daughter, friends, and family, eating, reading, or playing dominoes (she dares
anyone to challenge her!). Honey B. loves to read (she is especially passionate
about African American Literature- J. California Cooper, Walter Mosley, Zora
Neale Hurston, Toni Cade Bambara...), and as such she often volunteers her time
reading to young children and tutoring in English.
Overall, Honey
B. is an around-the-way girl to the fullest...you can definitely catch her in
the mix from beauty to thrift shop. She is probably the waviest woman you will
ever meet. Honey B. lives by the phrase 'Que sera, sera' which means 'What will
be, will be'. Here, at WODU, Honey B. brings you The Business
every Tuesday and Thursday from 1-2. She does a question of the day that
listeners can call-in, or e-mail, and voice their opinions. Make sure you tune
in and participate...Honey B. loves a good debate.
